The project is focused towards understanding the construction materials, techniques, systems and drawing details of the built form for the Architectural Design project - Community center (Co-living facility for Aspiring Actor) , designed in Semester 4.

A study of loading patterns has been conducted to understand appropriated building construction systems. R.C.C. framed system has been utilized for this small scale construction project. The necessary column, beams and slab layouts with use of isolated and combined footings for the project. Advanced slabs have been incorporated in the auditorium spaces, to create a columnless design.

A Tensile roof canopy has been incorporated in the design, to allow shading for the food court space, during the summer months and can be disassembled during the winter months. The respective drawings and details have been studied for the same.
