This project aimed to understand the role of different elements which are forming a particular space. This project helped me understand how an element is used in a structure and how it reflects in space making. Doors and the floor act as a threshold in the Sayil Palace. Whereas placements of columns lead to a rhythm. The walls form the enclosed volumes. In Unité d'Habitation, the columns act as a movement guild while windows act as scaling elements, a façade modulator, and a movement guild.
