This thesis looks into the understanding of what creates a sacred space and analyzes the elements that facilitate Transcendence in the minds of the users. The process of the design of the poster began with the understanding of what the topic entails. This led to several explorations and helped with the following elements being categorized and shown through the work. Light: The play of light on materials and surfaces inside a space hugely impacts how the spaces are perceived. Numinosity: The element of spirituality is heightened by the feeling of numinosity. This emotion is triggered by several elements of design.
Through the poster the aim was to integrate the key elements in a manner to convey the idea of the thesis.
