This studio addresses the Geometric nature of the world around us and takes radical steps to help identify the same. These inferences are then decoded in a drawing format to generate a critical conversation governing the visual language all around us. I explored certain grid patterns and tried to create a hybrid from those 'generating complex' patterns. Thus, we were introduced to a set of 3 illustrations that each focus on the technical (figure building), spatial (landscape), and social (occupational event) aspects of spaces. I selected the Hejduk Diamond Museum for the figure building, Neue National Gallery as the landscape element, and Ice Hockey as the occupational event.
Resonating these three aspects along with the hybrid grid generated, I juxtaposed all four elements to finally ideate on a representational medium that captures this particular GRIDSCAPE.
